In House Community Firms of the Year 2011 |
In its fifth year, the ASIAN-MENA COUNSEL Representing Corporate Asia & Middle East Survey is sent directly to over 17,000 individual in-house lawyers and senior company directors in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, as well as distributed at our In-House Congress events, making it the largest and most definitive survey of in-house counsel and buyers of legal services across the region, and therefore the most objective and significant recognition of your firm. A Unique & Objective Methodology Pre-qualified named in-house counsel are invited to participate in our survey directly and personally online, or when attending one of our In-House Congress events across the region (over 2,500 in-house counsel attend at least one of our In-House Congresses annually). Respondents are asked, among other things, for their comments on the quality and value of service received from external counsel in their jurisdiction, with votes aggregated to select the winning firms in each category. In-house counsel can nominate any firm of their acquaintance – the poll does not lead their choices in any way whatsoever and hence is unique among legal polls in the region. Where applicable, a domestic and international firm have been recognized as 'Winners'. In addition to the winning firms, 'Honourable Mentions' will also be made of those practice groups that received notable in-house recognition. The poll is unique in that it truly reflects the opinions of the in-house community in your jurisdiction – we ask senior in-house and general counsel, with no obligation, which firms they 'prefer to use' for various activities. As such, the results do not indicate which law firms have been the most active in any given area, but rather which private practice teams have made a strong impression on their clients and the In-House Community in general.
